Because Rehearsal Room workshops have a clearly identified performance process they make it easy for actors to improve their performance choices. This enables the actor to identify and remedy problems efficiently and effectively. The Rehearsal Room process makes actors better auditioners and therefore improves the chances of employment.

This workshop explores the fundamentals of good performance process. It is a clear and simple view of the Stanislavski approach, useful both as a refresher (for the experienced actor) or as an introduction to performance process.

THALIA FERRIOLS & KEVIN RENALLI in front of the camera

Its particular focus is television but its application is universal. It explores - how to create the image of a complex character, identifying subtext, labelling subtext, playing subtext, building trust, active listening, defeating tension, how to play surprises, how to prepare for a take and what the camera really sees - plus much more. The final on camera exercise is a practice audition. Click here for more about the content of this workshop .

Please note: 2nd Term 2012 commences 17th April.
