NEW TV Presenters Course
The Rehearsal Room introduces a course exploring the role of the television presenter. A six week course exploring the skills needed for professional presentation commences on Saturday 19th July. FOR DETAILS

Sunday Advanced Workshop
This workshop, which explores the fundamentals of listening, has been achieving extra-ordinary results on Tuesday evenings and is now available again on a Sunday afternoon commencing 13th July. (For more information)

Trusting the Impulse
Last week a fascinating Sunday morning was spent exploring impulses and finding ways to make performances more impulse driven. As a result some new elements of process are now part of The Rehearsal Room process. Developing performance process is a never ending journey. This Sunday from 10am to 1pm 'Television Technique' is put in the spotlight.

Acting Successes

RAELENE ISBESTER is currently one third of the way through a year in Tokyo at Tokyo Disney Land. RAELENE (in the blonde wig) plays two shows a day - The first show is a lunch show with all the characters and as they don't talk RAELENE says "it is like doing a one woman show." The dinner show is like a mini musical with dancers and singers and of course the star of the show Goofy. Disney provides free Japanese classes for Raelene, so she is "having a go at learning the language".

AND in Los Angeles CECELIA SPECHT and DAVID PATERSON of Boxing Day Productions are having great success with the world premiere of MISDIRECTED (a full length version) by Joe Borini which opened on May 4th. They have teamed with LA theatre company Zoo District and PJM and have already extended the season until June 9. The production has received terrific feedback and was 'Pick Of the Week' review in the LA Weekly.

In its previous life as a one-act play MISDIRECTED won "Best Of.." awards at New York and Melbourne Fringe Festivals. The full-length show tours Australia in 2005
