“ADVANCED WORKSHOP Level One" - on a Sunday

DATES: Sunday 22nd June to 3rd August 2008 (4 hour sessions)
(No class on Sunday 29th June)

TIMES: 2.00pm - 6.00pm (ALSO AVAILABLE WEEKNIGHTS)
VENUE: The Rehearsal Room, 18 Clendon Road, Armadale.

Build on the skills developed in the "Acting for Television Introductory Workshop". This workshop is open to actors who believes their performance process is above the basics. (BUT Rehearsal Room process is different and there are many advantages from starting in the Introductory Workshop.)

Work on active listening, build moments of surprise and develop impulse skills. The aim, to produce a confident, open and relaxed screen 'inter-actor'. Make your process work for you.

Understand how impulses work - how we can trust them - how we can control them.

THE COST: $495 (including GST) - for 24 hours tuition over 6 weeks
DEPOSIT: $50

MAXIMUM OF 8 ACTORS per class - BRING A VHS TAPE AND RECORD YOUR WORK.

This workshop is for those who have an understanding of the fundamentals of acting process. It re-enforces established skills and has a special emphasis on listening and responding to impulse. It will build trust and confidence, and strengthen skills in playing 'moments of surprise'. On the final day participants will present their work to casting agent Nick Hamon.
