A WORKSHOP for "The TV Presenter" (Level 1)

DATES: Saturday 18th February - 24th March 2012
SATURDAY TIMES: 2.00pm - 6.00pm
( FULL DAY SESSIONS ON Saturday 17th & 24th March)
VENUE: The Rehearsal Room, 18 Clendon Road, Armadale.

MAXIMUM OF 8 participants per class

Explore the role of a Television presenter. This seven session course will guide you through many of the skills needed for professional presentation. The classes are also relevant for those wishing to develop their abilities in other areas of presenting.

Complementing this course is the "PROFESSIONAL VOICE OVER WORKSHOP" and booking for both classes will attract a 10% discount on both classes! SAVE $150!

  • Interviewing techniques including tools to help connect with the interviewee

  • Practical application of presenting to the camera

  • Dealing with time constraints and other distractions
  • Accepting direction and making offers
  • Keeping a spontaneous approach to presenting
  • An introduction to voice over
  • An introduction to auto-cue

The final exercise is to prepare and shoot a segment including an interview, two 'pieces to camera' and a voice over.
