Meet Silvana Vaxelaire

Silvana Vaxelaire is a professional actor, Drama Teacher, and presenter.  She has been working professionally in stage, film, and TV for over 25 years in Vic & NSW, including performances for Arts Centre Melbourne, La Mama, Carlton Courthouse in Vic, and Exhibition Centre and Phoenix Theatre, NSW. Silvana also appeared for many 100% commercials and advertising, as the ‘Optus girl’ for the original Optus Communications launch campaign.

Silvana has also worked extensively in Children’s theatre and productions for the last ten years and has taught Acting to children for many drama schools, including Drama With a Difference, Stagecoach performing arts, Victorian Youth Theatre, and Frankston Arts Centre.

Silvana always receives excellent feedback for her teaching, and children, parents, and staff alike, have congratulated and widely praised Silvana for her teaching.  There is always a high attendance at her classes, and she produces great results in the children.

Her classes are fun, very educational, and she positively encourages and guides each student to express themselves, capturing and extending on each child’s individuality.

Silvana holds an advanced diploma in Acting, a certificate 4 in Dance, and an Integration Aide Certification.

Her training includes 3 years at the Ensemble Studios, NSW, Deakin University Vic, PEM Studios, Melbourne Acting School, The Actors Centre NSW, Bartuccio Dance Centre and The Dance Factory, and ongoing training at The Rehearsal Room.
